BCLUW High School choral program consists of three ensembles: Concert Choir, Chamber Choir, and Show Choir.
Concert Choir is the largest ensemble in the program. It meets every day and consists of approximately 50 young men and women. Concert Choir sings a mixture of choral styles, emphasizing accompanied music. This year, sight singing is a new focus and is highly emphasized in this ensemble.
Chamber Choir is the auditioned, select choir that meets during the day. It consists of 16 singers, both male and female. Chamber Choir sings primarily A Cappella pieces in different styles.
Show Choir is the competing ensemble in the BCLUW Choral Program. It mixes singing with choreography and dancing to create an exciting show on many different levels. This ensemble is a non-auditioned group of both males and females. The group typically competes in approximately three competitions per year.
